Feast & Fettle will soon be Westchester County’s newest meal service, and it’s any busy parent’s solution to a quality dinner.

A family eating a Feast & Fettle meal together.Whether you’re feeding hangry toddlers or your teens are going through a growth spurt, getting dinner on the table with kids in the mix can present challenges at every turn. If you’re all too acquainted with this type of struggle, we’ve got some news for you!

Starting in January, we at Feast & Fettle are expanding beyond New England to deliver to all of Westchester County. And we’ve looked for every opportunity to make our meal service as kid-friendly as possible.

Firstly, our way’s been paved by founder Maggie Pearson, a former private chef and nanny. This is important because she built the foundations for Feast & Fettle from her professional experience getting kids to eat stuff, which, as we all know, is much easier said than done. A few years after starting Feast & Fettle, she became a mother herself, which only served to better inform an approachable menu for the youngest among us.

The coolest technique she’s thought up to curb picky eating is serving sauce on the side. Why? A new food is a lot less scary when it’s dipped in a house-made pesto; and on the other hand, what better way to develop a taste for chermoula sauce than by trying it on something familiar?

This is why we always package sauce separately – not only so that you can control the flavor ratio when you plate your meals at home but so that the flavor-curious can dip and taste at their own pace.

And among our weekly-curated menus is a designated kids section. Everything on it is nutritious, sized for smaller appetites, and great for packing effortless home lunches. Or if you’re trying to eat something extra adult for dinner, it’s useful to have mini chicken soups or dumplings on hand for the little ones.

Feast & Fettle helps you avoid making a whole different meal for the kiddos – because who has time for that?

Lastly, all our meals are fully prepared in our Rhode Island kitchen and delivered fresh by our in-house driver team. You’ll get some easy-to-follow reheating instructions for the oven, stovetop, and microwave (you should play around with the air fryer, too), but rest assured that you won’t have to do any actual cooking.

This is what sets us apart from our competitors, the majority of whom will mail you an impersonal box of ingredients you need to chop, sautée, etc. Feast & Fettle, on the other hand, is in practice a lot like what Maggie offered in the early days of her career – a little help in the kitchen.

If you’re wondering how that point counts toward kid-friendliness, think about the last time you walked in the door after an unforgivingly long pickup-dropoff cycle and made a hasty dinner to an “I’m hungry” chorus.

We’re counting down the days until we open up for orders in Westchester on January 7th. Sign up for our pre-launch newsletter to get your second week of meals free
