It’s March – Spring is coming, summer is just around the corner, and the school year will be coming to a close before we know it. It also means the new year is already one quarter of the way done, if you can believe it.
So this seems like a perfect time to check in with yourself on how your year has been so far.
If you set goals or wanted to start making lifestyle changes back in January, now is a great time to check in on your progress. What’s working, what’s not? Have your goals shifted, or are you still set on achieving them and plugging away? Maybe you’ve made immense progress, or perhaps you’ve abandoned them altogether – and that’s OK.
Spring is about renewal. If your mindset has shifted, now is the time to reevaluate what’s really important to you. Do you want to start meal prepping but can’t seem to find the time? Need to add in more consistent workouts or pick up a book? Then perhaps something else can be moved towards the back burner to open up more time to focus on yourself (sometimes that laundry pile can wait).
Only you know what is most important to your life, your year, and your peace.
Making small shifts can really help to clear your mind and show you where best to focus your time and energy in the present moment. What may have worked six months ago may not work now and what’s working now may not a year from now.
But this is your journey to take, and you owe it to yourself to create space to show up as the best possible version of yourself. There’s no set timeline or limit – you’ve got this, and you’re going to be great.
