Growing up in the tri-state area, a catering hall commercial played on TV all the time. The tagline at the end featured the hall’s owners proclaiming, “We make your dreams come true!” And although it’s become a funny, nostalgic memory for many, maybe there is some truth in making our dreams come true.
It’s a great way to jump-start getting back in gear and focusing on what you want for yourself and your family in the coming year.
It’s always fun to try to set goals for the upcoming year, whether big or small. Make it a family affair. Set aside some time for the kids to come up with family goals and dreams. Perhaps it’s going on a big vacation, gearing up for a new pet, or having a monthly family fun day. Whatever it is, everyone needs to be on the same page to help make these goals and dreams a reality.
One of the more fun ways to do so is by creating a vision board. This is definitely something kids can help with. Gather art supplies and old magazines, and create! Having a visual reference can help keep your goals and dreams on track.
