I’m a mother, a daughter, a wife, a business owner, and so much more. But let’s get a proper start. My name is Leeann. Westchester County is my home. I have three children: Sophia (21), Carson (19), and Lila (14). I run an online and personal styling boutique, Love, Leeann, which was inspired by my mother.
At this point in my life, I’m trying to balance caring for my family and growing my business.
First and foremost, I’m a mother and a wife. My eldest daughter, Sophia, is a professional dancer based in Los Angeles. My son, Carson, is finishing his freshman year of college outside of state. And my youngest, Lila, is in middle school and has a budding social life. My husband, my high school sweetheart, practices law and has a busy schedule of his own. And, of course, we can’t forget our two babies, Frankie (a Shitzu) and Bella (a Maltipoo)! Keeping tabs on these six is no easy feat!
I have worked in fashion as a merchandiser and stylist for as long as I can remember. I started working in retail when I was 15 years old. Over time, I traveled everywhere, called Italy my home for a year, ate, slept, and styled fashion for my entire life. When I first started, it was a time in fashion when I was offered so much culture, many challenges, and, most importantly, a valuable experience. Yet, all these years later, the world of buying, selling, and fashion, in general, is very different. It is a new challenge that I love and am working through today with my own business, my passion.
So, here we are: balance. My life has so many moving parts, and that’s no complaint. But how do you keep it all together? As a companion and wife for almost 40 years, a mother for 21 years, and a business owner for five years, I have a lot of experience with balance. Today, I want to share a few things that work for me.
My 3 tips on how to balance it all.
1. Have a sense of humor. If you don’t laugh, you’ll cry.
2. Pick your battles.
3. The older I get, the more I realize writing things down is key. Lists, even on my phone, help me keep it together.
These three tips and many essential oils will get me through the day!

Leeann,
It is hard to incorporate Work life balance into ones daily routine. I often find myself encouraging my staff and others but can not seem to follow my own advice.
Thank you for sharing your story, you have a beautiful family.
Blessings to you,
Jillinda
