I’m Thankful

Hands holding a mug that says thankful. I’m thankful for being seen by so many. For others to know me and appreciate me for who I am. For my children to know they can count on me whenever and wherever. For a husband who is truly my equal partner in life.

I’m thankful that I get to (hopefully) help other moms through my writing. I’m honored to be given the chance.

If even one sentence I write resonates with someone, then I’ve done my job, and I hope I have made others feel seen and less alone.

I’m thankful for the time I get to spend with my family and loved ones. I don’t take anything for granted, as I know firsthand the pain of those moments abruptly ending.

I’m thankful for the place I call home. It is a home filled with laughter, love, and caring.

I’m thankful to be surrounded by people who inspire me to be a better person, follow my dreams, and be true to myself.

In this season of giving thanks, take time to reflect on all the things in life that make you thankful and truly enrich your days. You’ll be pleasantly surprised to find a lot more reason than you may have thought.

Every day, we each have hundreds of reasons to be thankful, no matter how small or seemingly trivial they might be.

Let your thankfulness rub off on others and help spread joy in the world. It might sound silly, but it really works and helps put you in a positive mindset.
