Spring Brings New Beginnings: Meet Jess

0

A hand holding a small flower. If you’re starting to emerge from winter hibernation and slowly step into a new season with a renewed spike in motivation, you’re not alone.

My name is Jess—mom, former professional dancer, current integrative health coach, yoga and dance teacher, and self-described rebel. As a new contributor to Westchester County Mom, I’m so thrilled for you to get to know me and my approach to love, life, motherhood, and wellness.

I’m the proud owner of a local home health coaching practice, where my specialized area of interest focuses on women’s and adolescent mental health, combining energetic, creative, and somatic strategies. I love helping people build their own “toolbox” of empowerment so they can thrive and truly love the life they live—on their terms, in their way, and on their own unique journey.

I’m here to break the mold and unapologetically help fellow moms come alive again.

We all experience many seasons in life, and each one teaches us something about ourselves. Some burst open with exciting new beginnings, like spring. Others are quieter, filled with endings and opportunities for reflection. Whatever season you’re in, one thing remains true: nothing is permanent, and each season is meaningful and uniquely aligned for you.

Add motherhood into the mix, and those seasons become so multilayered that it can be easy to lose sight of yourself.

So as spring begins to usher us forward and reawaken our spirits, start by implementing one small, intentional thing that is yours and yours alone. Maybe it’s something that pushes you out of your comfort zone. Maybe it’s incorporating a self-care ritual, reading a book, or saying no without explanation. Maybe it’s even just locking the bathroom door for some privacy while you pee.

Whatever it is, let’s start this spring together—with realigned purpose and self-love.

You are more than a mom.
More than a partner.
More than a daughter.
More than an employee.

This is your life. And just like the grass and flowers pushing up through the earth, vibrant and unapologetic—so can you.

Nice to meet you all!
