I like to stay organized. It’s funny how a few essential kitchen products can transform your home, making cooking and day-to-day tasks easier. I no longer shuffle through pans, knock over water bottles, or rifle through spices!
I’ve compiled seven essential kitchen products that busy moms and families need to make lunch prep, cooking, and storage a breeze!
1. Kitchen Cabinet 3-tiered Shelves
I was tired of my unsightly spice rack, which largely loomed on my kitchen counter. Between the coffee machine, toaster, and fruit bowl, the last thing I needed was more junk, taking up precious counter space! I discovered these 3-Tier Spice Organizers, which work for spices, cans, jars, or anything else of comparable size! I also love how the tiers allow my spices to be displayed readily, so I can quickly grab the one I’m looking for while cooking.
2. Pantry Rack Holders
Ever try to get a particular pan or baking sheet out, only to cause a complete landslide of bakeware tumbling to the ground? You’re not the only one! I’ve always had to finagle several pots and pans to reach the needed one! I found these Pantry Rack Holders, and they work wonders in organizing my baking sheets, chopping boards, and even pans! No more landslides causing a symphony of sounds on your kitchen floor while the baby is napping!
3. Pot Lid Holder
I’m going to tell you a story about a mom who, in the dinner-time rush, tried to grab what she thought was the appropriate lid for her boiling pot of water. Because her pots and pans were always in disarray, two other lids came tumbling out and shattered on the floor as she grabbed it. This mom needed a new way to store her lids because cleaning up the shattered glass while trying to cook dinner wasn’t ideal. This is when I…I mean, that mom discovered Pot Lid Holders. Now, they are perfectly organized by pot sizes, making reaching and grabbing the appropriate one much easier!
4. Water Bottle Storage Rack
Ever go to grab a water bottle, and five or more come spilling out of the cabinet? And forget about finding matching tops! This Stackable Water Bottle Holder has been fantastic for my family’s water bottles and travel mugs! I bought one shelf per family member to prepare the kids’ lunches more efficiently, and there’s no more confusion about whose bottle belongs to who!
5. Refrigerator Bins
As my family grows larger, the fridge space seems to grow smaller. A few fridge bins helped free up so much space for essentials! Instead of scrambling around products to find that baby pouch from this morning, they had their bin and were neatly arranged in a row. I didn’t have to move around cans of seltzer to find my favorite flavor because each flavor had its own holder. I also love keeping family members who have allergies in a separate bin so that nannies or babysitters can easily see what they can eat. I have seen several different fridge bins, so take your time and find the perfect one! They even have ones you can write on and erase to help customize your stuff!
6. Lazy Susan
No lazy moms here! These storage turn-tables are perfect for various pantry items, especially baby food pouches! No more knocking over the carrots to get to the prunes. Have your kids outgrown the pouch stage? I still use them for other snacks, like granola bars or similarly sized snacks that I organize by flavor! Have older kids? They make perfect nail polish and pill bottle organizers for your bathroom cabinet!
7. Wall Mounted Mop or Broom Holder
Although this is technically a product for a closet, it has freed up the floor of my kitchen pantry and closet! A quick reach for the broom would cause an avalanche of mops, vacuums, or dusters, which I would haphazardly kick to the side and “worry about later” (later never came). The greatest part about the mop/broom holder is that it’s wall-mounted, so it frees up closet floor space. It also has hooks to hang small objects like plastic bags, totes, or flashlights!
