DRD Modern Organ Trio

In 2019, right before the world shut down, St John’s Music Professors Dyan D and Danny Borg carefully crafted amazing courses, working with students on the Queens Campus. Danny and Rafael met while they were students at NYU. It was one afternoon when Danny united us all and formed our first version, playing for the students and helping us understand the concept of spontaneity and improvisation. They loved it, and a new musical bond and friendship were born. We are thrilled to be promoting our new album, The DRD Modern Organ Trio, which comes out in 2024. It encompasses the tradition of old meeting the minds and styles of the new.
