SUMMARY:Nerikomi Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This hands-on class introduces students to nerikomi\, a decorative hand-building technique that uses layered\, patterned colored clay. Students will learn how to build and slice patterned clay blocks and apply them to a simple slab-built form\, resulting in a one-of-a-kind functional piece. The class is beginner-friendly and open to all experience levels. \nThis session will feature my March palette\, Stone Thaw — soft mineral tones inspired by late winter thaw\, including celadon\, jade green\, smoky gray\, wedgwood blue\, and blackberry wine\, balanced with natural white.
