Iona University’s Acrobatics and Tumbling team is excited to announce a Kids Gymnastics Camp on Sunday, January 5! We will focus on the fundamentals of gymnastics, predominantly tumbling. However, all of our Kids Camp participants will do the basics for each artistic gymnastics event. Boys and girls are both welcome.
Times and Grades on Sunday, January 5, 2025:
Grades K-2: 1-2 p.m.
Grades 3-5: 2:10-3:10 p.m.
Important Reminders:
Please have your child wear socks (Crocs are always great for easy slipping on and off) and, if possible, have their hair up and out of their face.
Please bring a labeled and filled water bottle. We have a water fountain, but this is easiest for everyone.
Please wear athletic clothes, such as leotards, shorts or leggings, a T-shirt or tank, etc., anything they can quickly move around in. Just no jeans, please! If it is cold, a sweatshirt and sweatpants are great, too. We encourage you to arrive 5-15 minutes early to check in. Our athletes will help greet you all, check you in,n and take your child to our gym area. Parents, you can watch upstairs from our viewing track above (we will direct you).
– Last, please ensure your little one has had a snack and gone to the bathroom before coming/dropping them off.
Additional Notes:
Our gym is the Schoenfeld Campus Center on Iona’s Bronxville campus. We will make sure to have a sign outside as well. Please arrive 5-15 minutes early and prompt on pick up with an ID. When you drop off your child, please let us know who will be picking them up.
